Further explanation of Coachable Goals
This appears to be a nebulous definition that may be somewhat difficult
to grasp at first. When we dig deeper to better understand what this entails,
you will discover the wonderful world that it opens up and the extremely
important and wonderful accomplishments it can lead to. First it is a
FUTURE PLACE YOU want to BE. This means you have chosen to move your life
to a place different than where you are today. A Coachable Goal is the
situation you want to enter, not the place you want to leave behind. You
always focus on where you want to go, not where you are leaving. You
decide where you want to go. You cannot be forced, sold, or tricked into
deciding to become this person. You will undoubtedly make this decision
on your own, when you are good and ready. You control where you want to
go and when you want to start the process.
It has been said that the greatest growth any person can ever experience
is the increased awareness of who they are. Think of the monumental
effort, money and time humans have spent over time seeking to unravel
the mystery of man. When the real mystery people have been seeking to
resolve has been themselves.

How your personal coach will assist you to discover
and get your Ideal Income Position
There are generally three coaching stages to discover then get your Ideal
Income Position. They are usually accomplished in order, but the
second and third stages can be combined.
The first stage of personal coaching will be the Discovery
Stage. During the Discovery Stage your personal coach will ask you
open ended questions to assist you to reveal to your coach AND to YOU:
1. Your True Passions. These include the passions you know about,
the ones you suspect and the ones that have been hiding within you, but
have not been allowed out for your recognition and acceptance.
2. Your True Priorities and Desires. These include where your work
goals and actions, where your family goals and actions and where your
personal goals and actions fit together in the importance to YOU and ONLY
YOU!! You will gain a much clearer picture of what really means the most
to you and why.
3. Your Beliefs and Values. Some people refer to these as the elements
of spirituality. These include your integrity, your moral code of ethics
and your relationship with God.
4. Your True Talents. These include the talents you know about,
the talents you suspect you have, and those talents that have been hidden
and suppressed within you.
5. Your True Self-imposed Obstacles. These include the things in
life that you just do not want to do. They can be considered the opposite
of your passions. Everyone has such obstacles. It is OK to have them and
very important to know what they are, so you do not allow yourself to
be in a place where you have to do them repeatedly to succeed.
Once you and your personal coach
discover these many very important factors, about who you really are,
you will become "The Worlds Leading Expert on YOU!
This is the most important stage. This is where the power and wonderful
results from coaching are generated. This stage normally takes the most
amount of time (approximately two thirds of the entire process)
The next stage is for you and your coach to design, build, develop,
and/or find the position (or positions) to SUIT YOU! This way you
create the position around you. This is a complete switch from the normal
way people select their work positions (normally jobs). Most people focus
on the jobs (and rarely themselves). Far too many people pick their work
positions, or fall into their work positions by using the Trial and Error
method of selection. Then they ADJUST to the jobs to suit their bosses,
and/or the corporation, with little, if any concern for themselves.
But now you will be building the position and the environment in which
you work around YOU. This is the creative stage.
The final stage is that your coach will assist you to take the steps
to actually attain (be in) your Ideal Income Position This
is the completion stage, the execution stage. Through personal coaching,
this will normally be the easiest and fastest stage, because you will
know exactly what you want to do and why. You will focus on attaining
it, with little, if any diversions or distractions by other "opportunities."
You and your coach will organize the coaching process to fit your unique
personal characteristics, to fit the amount of effort you put into it,
to fit your pace in doing so, and to fit your unique circumstances.
If you are performing in a work position
that you don't like, or causes you stress, or leaves you empty, or leaves
you unfulfilled, there is nothing wrong with you or the place where you
work. You are just the wrong person at the wrong place at the wrong
time.
You are the wrong shaped peg in a square hole. But you do not know what
your true shape is, because you have been trying so hard to conform to
the square hole of your job. Then the job changed to a rectangle and you
adjusted to the new shape, and the pattern continues. You end up having
adjusted so much, that you do not even resemble what your true (unknown)
shape is. You then feel very much out of place.
The secret is to look at you first to discover who you are and what you
really want (what peg shape your truly are). Then design or find the position

Motherhood is a
very special time sensitive profession
I believe that being a mother is the most important profession there is.
I believe that Motherhood is highly underrated and not respected for how
difficult it is to be a successful mother. It is normally a non-income
position that has all of the attributes of work. However, the activities
of Motherhood are very uniquely time sensitive. The required intensity
and amount of effort, activity, and mental alertness diminishes, as children
grow older. The demands on mothers are constant and very intense at the
beginning, because newborn babies demand and need constant attention,
care, and feeding. But, as their children grow older the types of demands
on mothers change and require less effort and time.
Mothers will face the empty nest condition.
When the youngest
child goes to school for the first time, mothers find themselves with
a very unusual and refreshing experience: Free Time, normally devoid of
demands or pressures. But this free time can soon become a burden, if
not handled in a way that best suits the mother. This condition can also
be called a mid-life crisis. On the surface it can be a scary thought
of what to do next.

Why do so many businesses fail?

delivery of the products or services, collections and accountability of
moneys, hiring and organizing employees, managing the day to day operations
of the business, data collection and record keeping, establishing and
managing communications with customers and business team members, setting

Many people who have ADD (Attention Deficit

There are generally three coaching stages to become a more productive
leader. They are usually accomplished in order, but the second and third
stages can be and frequently are combined.
The first stage of personal coaching will be the Discovery Stage.
During the Discovery Stage your personal coach will ask you open ended
questions to assist you to reveal to your coach AND to YOU:
1. Your True Passions. These include the passions you know about,
the ones you suspect and the ones that have been hiding within you, but
have not been allowed out for your recognition and acceptance.
2. Your True Priorities and Desires. These include where your work
goals and actions, where your family goals and actions and where your
personal goals and actions fit together in the importance for YOU and
ONLY YOU!! You will gain a much clearer picture of what really means the
most to you and why.
3. Your Beliefs and Values. Some people refer to these as the elements
of spirituality. These include your integrity, your moral code of ethics,
and your relationship with God.
4. Your True Talents. These include the talents you know about,
the talents you might suspect you have, and those talents that have been
hidden and suppressed within you.
5. Your True Self-imposed Obstacles. These include the things in
life that you just do not want to do. They can be considered the opposite
of your passions. Everyone has such obstacles. It is OK to have them and
very important to know what they are, so you do not allow yourself to
be in a place where you have to do them repeatedly to survive.
Once you and your personal coach discover these many very important factors,
which make up who you really are, you will become "The Worlds Leading
Expert on YOU!
This is the most important stage. This is where the power and wonderful
results from coaching are generated. This stage normally takes the most
amount of time (approximately two thirds of the entire process)
The next stage is for you and your coach to design, build, and/or develop,
your leadership position to SUIT YOU! This way you create your leadership
position around you. This is a complete switch from the normal way people
select their work positions (normally jobs). Far too many people pick
their work positions, or fall into their work positions by using the Trial
and Error method of selection. Then they ADJUST to life conditions to
suit their bosses, their family, their friends, and others with little,
if any concern for themselves.
But now you will be building life conditions and the environment you want
around YOU. This is the creative stage.
The final stage is that your coach will assist you to take the steps
to actually attain (be in) the leadership position that is designed specifically
for YOU! This is the completion stage, the execution stage. Through
personal coaching, this will normally be the easiest and fastest stage,
because you will know exactly what you want to do and why. You will focus
on attaining it, with little, if any diversions or distractions by other
"opportunities."
You and your personal coach will organize the coaching process to fit
your unique personal characteristics, to fit the amount of effort you
put into it, to fit your pace in doing so, and to fit your unique circumstances.

The conversion into
retirement is a very unique and dramatic step in life. The changes in
a person's short term and long term objectives change dramatically. The
changes in a person's daily routines change dramatically. The changes

Their social circles will normally change, because people rarely understand

social functions, like sports teams, Bar-B Queue's, etc. will change or
be lost. Their normal conversations with others will change, especially
if work related topics dominated thoughts and interactions within social
gatherings. Retirees will rarely be included in conversations about work
related matters, because they are no longer involved in work.
The retirement illusion
There is an illusion that all problems and stresses related to working
life will be solved upon retirement. Sure, many of the work related problems,
like bad bosses, bad commutes, bad working conditions, etc., will be resolved
by going into retirement. But the other benefits of working life will
also be lost. Unfortunately, in their haste to escape the bad things of
work, many people overlook the many good aspects of work that they will
also lose. The truth is that retirement is very different and people must
discover, then follow, their own very unique path that is best for them
to reap the full rewards of retirement. Unfortunately, the last place
retirees look to achieve retirement success (on their own unique terms)
is within themselves.

to tap into the calorie reserves (fat) to provide the additional energy
(calories) needed to provide fuel to the body during the exercise. The
reduction of the calorie reserves will reduce the fat content and weight
of the body. The basic prescription for weight loss is to exercise more
and eat less.

power for very short busts of speed. What a difference! The person getting
into shape has to know what he or she intends to do with their newfound
physical shape to be sure it fits the end goal. This is the same process
that people will want to use to lose weight. Losing weight for no other
purpose than to lose weight has not proven to be a very effective process.

What really happens when people become practicing
personal coaches.
Many people who have entered the personal coaching field find that there
is much more to it than they had expected or were led to believe. They
enter the field unprepared, or unaware of the obstacles before them, whether
they transferred over from therapy or consulting, or whether they completed
a full curriculum at a coach training school, to include attaining a coach
certification designation. In fact, most schools promote their coach certification

Here are some statistics that paint a different picture. It has been reported

1. Seventy-three percent of all coaches make less than $10,000 in
their first year.
2. Only 60 percent of all second-year coaches have managed to find 10
paying clients.

their services, 53 percent of them make less than $20,000 per year.
