The Purpose of this book
I wrote this book to assist you to Go to Play Every Day, and call it work. This will happen when you love what you do and do what you love, and you are so good at producing valuable results that you will be well rewarded both financially and otherwise. We call this your ideal income position. This book will give you the knowledge, the understanding, and the methods to actually discover and operate in your own ideal income position.

There is a NEW Work Selection Process that when used correctly, will virtually guarantee that you will discover and obtain your Ideal Income Position that allows you to Go to Play Every Day and call it work. The importance of Your Work Selection Process
Why do so many people feel they must suffer at work? Why are many people so reluctant to try to figure out what they love to do, let alone actually pursue their ideal income position? The reason: It sounds too good to be true! The chances of actually getting your dream position WERE remote, at best. Few people succeeded at getting their dream positions, even if they tried real hard to do so because the Work Selection Processes they used virtually guaranteed that they would end up in mismatched work positions. People use a Work Selection Process to find, evaluate, and select their work positions. You probably did not even know you were using a work selection process and you certainly did not know it was so important to your career success. So you continued to use the same Work Selection Processes that you used before, that others used before you, that people around you are using, or that others virtually imposed on you.
The U.S. Department of Labor: Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that between 1978 and 2002 the average worker in the United States held over 10.2 different jobs (As defined as an uninterrupted period of work with a particular employer) in their work career. I believe the main reason people change employers so often is because the work selection processes they used directed them to choose the wrong work positions every time. Of course, there are other factors, like being laid off, or changes in the economy. But, close inspection will reveal that many more people are unhappy at work, even during the best of times. Far too many people find themselves working in the wrong position, at the wrong place, and at the wrong time. There is nothing wrong with these people. Yet, they don’t know how they ended up in the wrong positions, and they don’t know how find the right position if they tried.
What this book will not do.
We will not attempt to change you. We will not tell you how to improve your resume or how to find the most lucrative jobs. We will not instruct you to adjust to suit others. We will not give you lists of complicated information to remember. We will not require you to conform to our programs, our expectations, our rules, or our demands. We will not require you to take our courses, complete our workbooks, buy our products, or attend our seminars. We will not place ourselves above you. We will not lecture you. We will not judge you. We will not try to impose any guilt on you. We will not try to fix you, because you are not broken.
